Hello I am Ms. Hernandez. I have over 20 + years of experience working with children and families in different settings. I am currently the Spanish Teacher for level 1 and 2.  I have the experience of working at private and charter schools as a Spanish Teacher for level 1,2 and Heritage II.  I started my career as a Bilingual Preschool Teacher, Early interventionist with children with vision impairments and multiple disabilities, foster youth and worked with non-profit agencies as a bilingual support for the Spanish speaking communities.

I was born and raised in California. I moved to Arizona over 5 years ago and I am enjoying it. I have acclimated to the scourging summers. I have 1 daughter, 2 sons and 2 grandchildren. I enjoy spending time with family and exploring new adventures in life. I enjoy books, movies, music, art, museums and more….

I have an M.A in Human Development and Specialization in Leadership in Education and Human Services from Pacific Oaks College in Pasadena, California; B.S in Family Consumer Sciences with a minor in child care administration from California State University Northridge and a A.A in Child Development from Oxnard Community College.
