HR and Licensing Coordinator

Description

We are looking for someone to be the Human Resources and Licensing Coordinator for the 2023/24 school year.

Essential Job Functions

  • Impeccable record-keeping techniques, filing systems and information management. 

  • Operation of a computer: preparation and maintenance of a variety of records, logs and files including information of a confidential nature.

  • Strong Communication (written and verbal) skills.

  • Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy with staff, students and parents. 

  • Read, interpret, explain and follow rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

  • Compose effective correspondence independently.

  • Operate a variety of office equipment, computer and assigned software (Tyler SIS, School Admin and Google Apps for Education).

  • Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.

  • Exercise independent judgment in administrative details, requiring considerable knowledge, use and interpretation of district policies and procedures.

  • Meet schedules and timelines.

  • Work confidently with discretion.

Operations:

  • Assist in the organization and documentation of policies and procedures.

  • Assist in filing reports to state school board and state licensing agencies.

  • Assist in IT and Telecommunications support. 

Human Resources:

  • Responsible for paperwork coordination of human resources paperwork for all new hires, current employees, and terminations

  • Record keeping for all staff files

  • Setting up training for blood born pathogens, CPR/1st aid training before the beginning of each school year for all staff

  • Creating job descriptions when needed and adjusting already existing job descriptions on the admin drive

    Posting open positions on the school website, Indeed, and on the staff’s intranet The Hive

    District Testing Coordinator:

  • Oversee administration of all state standardized testing, including, ASAA, AZELLA, AZSci,          ACT, Galileo District Benchmark testing, and reporting to Arizona Department of Education and to parents of students as required

  • Complete pre-test workshops or trainings as mandated for the specific test administrations

  • Serve as a liaison between the Arizona Department of Education (ADE), district/charter personnel, and current test contractor

  • Order of all required test materials

  • Schedule testing dates for the school and communicate with staff and parents about procedures, dates, and makeup testing

  • Maintain and monitor the security of all assessment materials

  • Coordinate, distribute, and collecting all test materials for all schools for the district/charter

  • Training and assisting faculty at all testing sites

  • Checking ADE website regularly for testing updates.

    Qualifications:

  • Demonstrates confidentiality, excellent organizational skills and accuracy, excellent customer relations and interpersonal communication skills, ability to clearly communicate, team player

  • Must be a skilled multi-tasker, efficient, reliable and committed to consistently meeting deadlines

  • Knowledge and experience in Waldorf education principles and in the administration of state standardized testing  

    Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree in relevant field preferred, high school diploma, and five years of experience in essential functions required


    Licenses, Certification, Bonding and/or Testing Required:

  • AZ DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card, Clear TB Test, Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate issued
